Ready or Not is one of the best co-op games around for teamwork, and one of the most brutal when a squad doesn't have any. You don't need to be a veteran to play it well. You just need a few good habits. Here are the five VOID Tactical lives by.

1. One voice calls the plan

Before the van doors open, agree who leads. Everyone can suggest ideas, but once you're stacked on a door, one person calls the entry. Five people shouting five plans is how you end up with nobody covering the stairs.

2. Short, clear callouts

"Contact, kitchen, one suspect" beats a paragraph. Keep it short, say where, and say what. A microphone matters more than a meta loadout.

3. Slow is smooth

Rushing a room feels quicker until you're restarting the mission. Check corners, pie doors, use the mirror gun and take a breath. The best squads look almost relaxed.

4. Respect the rules of engagement

Compliance before force, and report everything. It's the heart of the game and it's what separates a good score from a bad one. If you're not sure whether to shoot, don't.

5. Debrief without blame

Every squad has a bad run. Talk about what went wrong, laugh about the flashbang that hit your own team and go again. Nobody wants to play with someone who rages at teammates.

Play with a regular squad

All of this is far easier with people you play with every week. VOID Tactical runs tactics nights for those chasing S-ranks and chill clears for everyone else. We're also looking for team leads (21+ with a microphone). Join the VOID Discord and grab the Ready or Not role.
